Our multi-year Kerber Creek Restoration Project has been the recipient of several national awards including:
2010 BLM Reclamation and Sustainable Mineral Development Award - The awards recognize the efforts made
in implementing the principles of sustainable development, a concept
adopted by the United States and 192 other countries, to balance environmental,
economic, and social concerns in planning for mining
operations.
2010 USFS “Water Partner of the Year” for the Rocky Mountain Region award.
Public Lands Foundation Award to honor community based stewardship that include public lands administered by BLM.
